What is an Angle?

Before we begin let's remember what we mean by an angle.

An angle is a measure of a turn.

The angle between two lines is how much you have to turn one of the lines so that it matches up with the other one.

If you turn a line all the way round, then it will turn through an angle of 360o ("360 degrees").

We draw a curved line, called an arc, between the two lines to identify the angle.
